Welcome to Rolling Prairie Elementary School

Message From the Principal

Welcome to Rolling Prairie Elementary School! We are one of three elementary schools in New Prairie United School Corporation and are home to kindergarten through fifth grade students. We are a “1-1” school corporation where every student is provided with an iPad to enhance their academic offerings.

Rolling Prairie Elementary is an excellent school with faculty and staff committed to children and learning. We offer many programs and opportunities for students to grow and thrive. Some of these include academic competitions, athletics, fine arts, STEM/Lego Robotics, after-school club, and a wide variety of family events throughout the school year. We provide a rigorous curriculum with differentiated learning for all students. This, along with opportunities to grow socially and emotionally, help to ensure a well-rounded experience for our students.

Rolling Prairie Elementary offers a number of opportunities for parents and community members to become involved in our school. Community members, parents, grandparents, high school students, and college students serve as mentors, tutors, and volunteers in our classrooms. We also have an active and supportive parent-teacher organization that always welcomes new members. We value the partnerships and contributions of all volunteers in our commitment to ensure high levels of learning for all students.

We are proud of our Rolling Prairie Bulldog Community and are committed to maintaining an environment where all students feel welcome, safe, motivated, and challenged.

If you have any questions or would like to tour our school, please contact our office at (219) 778-2018 to schedule a time to meet.

Your partner in education,

Becky Bartlett
