Social Emotional Resources
Dear NPUSC family,
We know how incredibly trying this time has been for all of us. As a result of COVID-19 we have experienced changes to our school year, work, home, and social lives. These trying times can increase stress and anxiety and we want you to know we are here to support you. This year NPUSC has partnered with the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte to implement a social emotional curriculum in our 2nd, 6th, and 9th grade classes. The creators of these curriculums have released online resources allowing families to access it from home. We wanted to share this unique opportunity with you to utilize.
Second Step is administered to grades K-8. Their online portal has a wealth of resources and activities available in response to Covid-19 that can be found at the following website:
If you go to this website you can create an account that allows you access to all of the lessons, videos, and activities. The directions are as follows.
