NPUSC Hires New Technology Director

NPUSC is pleased to announce the hiring of Miguel Rosales as the new Director of Technology for New Prairie United Schools.  Mr. Rosales brings a wealth of experience to the role and has served as a school technology director since 2013.  First, Mr. Rosales served as Technology Director at Attica Consolidated Schools in Attica, Indiana, from 2013 to 2019.  Since 2019, he has served as Technology Director at Hoover-Schrum Memorial School District 157 in Calumet City, Illinois.  Mr. Rosales also has experience as a teacher and has implemented and taught dual credit workplace specialist courses in technology through Ivy Tech Community College.

Dr. Paul White, NPUSC Superintendent, stated about the hiring, “NPUSC is really fortunate to be able to bring someone of Miguel’s caliber to NPUSC.  Miguel is known as someone who can both educate and work alongside teachers with technology integration, but also has a significant understanding of technology infrastructure and back-end processes to ensure systems work for students and staff.  We are very fortunate to find a director with that range of skills.”
Mr. Rosales was approved unanimously by the NPUSC School board at a special meeting October 17 and will begin working at NPUSC on October 31st.
